Fetal Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at CellStemClinic

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common myelin disorder that affects the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. When the body’s own immune system attacks myelin – the coating around nerve fibers, that is Multiple Sclerosis.

Because of this, nerves get damaged, which cause a disruption of nerve impulse transmission and communication between cells. These issues cause problems related to muscle movement, balance, speech, and vision.

About treatment

The goal of MS treatment at CellStemClinic is to terminate autoimmune aggression, which is the internal attack of the immune system of the patient against his/her own nervous system.

CellStemClinic’s fetal stem cell treatment has two key functions:

  • Prevention of nerve cell damage: Fetal stem cells can help reduce or even prevent damage caused to nerve cells. This process is called “neuroprotection”.

  • Repair of damaged myelin. Specialized stem cells in the brain can generate myelin-producing cells, which facilitates the repair of myelin. This process is known as “remyelination”.

We offer two treatment programs for MS patients.

  • 3-day treatment with intravenous and subcutaneous injections of fetal stem cells.

  • 3-day treatment with intravenous, subcutaneous and intrathecal injections of fetal stem cells.

  • Each treatment course includes a session with our physiotherapy specialist (physical therapist) to additionally support the physical abilities of the patient.

The effectiveness of the therapy depends on different factors: initial condition, duration of the illness, age of the patient, hereditary predisposition, lifestyle, etc. The main goal of fetal stem cell therapy is to achieve stabilization of the patient’s condition and to alleviate the course of the disease, which has been reported in 80% of treated patients.

"I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to all the CellStemClinic. I was pleasantly surprised when the doctors talked me through everything that was going on, explained why this or that particular action was taken, what kind of drugs were being administered and why they were prescribed in the first place, and what type of equipment they were using. Thank You"
